Meet the teacher day

Today was the day we went to Grace's new preschool to meet her new teacher. She wasn't as enthusiastic about going to school as she has been in the past. We've been trying to build it up a lot and this morning when we woke her up she asked, "Am I going to school today?" Immediately followed by "I don't want to go to school today. I'm too hungry and thirsty."

She was reluctant to go and when we got there was initially clingy and shy despite being very outgoing when we visited for the first time (about 6 weeks ago). After we were there for a while, she played with the other kids in the kitchen area, put some puzzles together and colored a picture. We'll see how Wednesday goes. I'm thinking it's not going to be as easy as I had hoped. But then, nothing ever is, is it?

These two pictures are the pictures that we took this morning to take to school. I guess her teacher is going to hang them up in the classroom.
