Happy Grandparent's day

All I can say about this is "oops". I thought that Grandparent's day was in November or October or some other day in the fall time period. Apparently Walmart and Target did not do a good job advertising this holiday because I was clueless until I checked out facebook this morning. Couldn't they at least have given me more of a warning like "hey, Grandparent's day is next week or in two days or tomorrow". Sorry Grandparents. It's not something I'm used to celebrating since as a kid, we never really celebrated it. At least not that I can remember.

I was going to put together a fabulous post/photo montage to make up for the lack of cards, flowers or other Grandparent's day goodies but I don't have access to any of our older photos yet.

Nevertheless, we love you Grandparents. We wish that all of you could live closer to us because we would probably have more of this (oh, and because we love you too)---the scene after my parents dropped the kids off after watching them for us (on yes, Grandparents day---double oops).
The miracle is that they both were asleep (passed out) at the same time. I didn't even have to hold anyone to keep them from waking up! I had even more time to work on my newest project.

So, happy Grandparents day. We'll make up for it next year, that is if I can remember.
