The construction zone
Here was our second visit to the Children's Museum to see the part that we didn't get to the first time. This was the construction side. Here they are enjoying a little house that you could wallpaper but they mostly liked sitting in it and looking out the windows.
Cute now, but trouble later.
Trying on the construction outfit. Lucas's hard hat was just a little too big.
But he made the best of it and played peek a boo with it. It was funny watching him run around with it over his face. He even bumped into a wall---maybe he should be wearing a hard hat.
Busy builders.
Grace with a hinge. I know it looks like it's in her mouth but it isn't. I had a hard time with the bolts and screws. I guess we'll have to take Daddy with us next time.
Lucas's favorite part was the sorting part. He loved fitting the different bolts to send them downstairs to the "supply" area.
Hard to believe but we spent 2 and 1/2 hours here most of which were spent in the construction zone. I guess I need a construction zone at my house. Maybe then, I'd have time to do other things. Like nap.
