We had an early Fourth of July party at my parent's house. We were also celebrating Steve's return home from D.C. He got back just in time to attend the party. No flight delays this time. Whew!
There was lots of swimming to be done.
Here is Grace waiting not so patiently for her turn. She is finally at that age where she wants to be the first to hit it. I heard "I don't want to be patient" and "I can't wait any longer" multiple times before it was finally her turn.
There were a few technical difficulties. A result of too much candy in the pinata.
Bubby went first. He did a really good job of hitting it.
Grace finally (finally) gets her turn. She took some really big swings. I didn't get any pictures of them actually breaking it or the kids running for the candy. Why? Because I had a case of fire ant foot. Ouch!
