We are still recovering from an extended weekend. I'm still trying to make my way through the mounds of laundry, at least now it's mounds of clean laundry. Now I just have to fold/hang it and put it away. In my mind, the worst part.
We spent most of the day playing and pretending to clean. Not too exciting.
Pretending to clean: Lucas during naptime. I know you're not supposed to let your young children sleep (technically he's not sleeping, he's napping) with pillows but he has really become attached to that big white pillow when he naps. He grabs it and buries himself in it like a little cat or something. I'm usually so desperate to get him to sleep that I'd probably let him sleep with an alligator (I'm exaggerating of course, sort of-----kidding). I make sure that his face is not buried in the pillow before I leave him alone. Doesn't he look cozy, like you could just fall asleep yourself if only you could. If only.
