The kids started getting a little restless while I was downstairs trying to get dinner on the table. It was raining outside so I couldn't banish them to the back porch. I thought they might have fun trying to "wash" the window with squirt bottles filled with water. They always seem interested when I have to wash the mirror in their bathroom. Good idea, right?
A lot of fun, but a little bit messier than I anticipated. Seems like that happens a lot. See all the water on the window? There's about twice that on the window sill and the floor below, not to mention on their clothes. "It's only water, it's only water".

By the end of it, Lucas was having a good time squirting the water in his face. The same boy who screams at the top of his lungs when he has to take a bath. Am I missing something here?
Fun times. If you have small kids try this activity at home. It will keep them occupied long enough for you to get dinner made or clean the kitchen. Of course you'll have to find another activity to keep them busy while you are trying to clean up the mess they made. Good luck!
