Happy Veterans Day

Happy Veterans day to all the veterans out there. Enjoy a meal at Applebee's if you can! I'd load up on yummy food but alas there are just not enough points in the day. Ho hum!

I thought I'd share some pictures from my days in Kuwait 5 years ago! I'm not sure that anyone other than Steve as seen these. Hard to believe that #1 I was ever in the Navy and #2 that I was deployed. Weird. My favorite picture was the one with Sadam's head. Could you recognize him? It's my favorite because it was the last picture before I got to come home. His head greeted you on your way through customs.

I celebrated today by catching up on my blog. Finally. F--I--N--A--L--L--Y! I told you to expect a flurry of posts after Halloween was over. I just bet you didn't think (or cared) that it would take me this long to catch up. Hope you enjoyed them up until now. I make no promises that my tardiness will end here. After all, I'm gearing up for Christmas and plan to make several homemade gifts. Eek. We'll see how that goes. Plus, I'm in the process of starting up a dork, I mean craft blog. Ha! I'm not sure if you know it but I have a craft obsession that I just can't control. I hope to come out of the craft closet in a blaze of glory. A girl can dream, right?
